How it works

One system.
One box.

SentinelX isn't a camera with accessories. It's one security system, built to keep you safe: the camera sees, the node acts, the key fob and the Cloud keep you in control. Designed together, delivered together.

01 Edge AI Camera

It understands what it sees.

The camera doesn't just stream video. It interprets the scene and checks it against the rules you set.

Its AI model tells people, animals and other entities apart. You draw perimeters and restricted zones directly in the camera view, then decide what is prohibited in each one. A zone set up for people can ignore an animal walking through it. Where enabled, facial recognition separates authorised people from unknown ones.

  • AI compute~3 TOPS (3 trillion operations per second), on device
  • SizeAbout a chocolate bar
  • InternetNot required for core loop
  • RecordingLocal, on each camera
  • ControlTalks directly to alarms & automation
  • RecognitionFacial, where configured

02 SX Node — automation & alarm

It turns a decision into action.

SX Node

When a zone rule is broken, the SX Node carries out the physical response you have configured.

The automation system drives compatible devices across the building: lights, fans, pumps and door locks. The alarm system gives immediate, local, audible deterrence. Both act on commands straight from the cameras, so the loop doesn't depend on a server or an internet connection.

  • Alarm — siren sounds on site
  • Lighting — configured lights switch on
  • Access — compatible doors lock
  • Alert — owner is notified
  • Escalation — call for help, when online

03 Dashboard & App

Every camera. One view.

Monitoring, configuration, alerts and footage, all in one place.

Each camera records its own footage, but you see every feed and recording in one consolidated interface. Draw zones, enrol authorised faces, choose what each zone responds to, and review events afterwards.

With internet enabled you can also ask Olly, the conversational assistant, about what has happened. Ask "did anyone enter after 10 pm?" and you get an answer, not a clip to scrub through.

  • Live view — all cameras, one screen
  • Zones — drawn on the camera image
  • Rules — what is prohibited, per zone
  • People — enrol authorised faces
  • Footage — browse recordings across cameras

04 Smart Key Fob

Security, in your pocket.

A digital key and a personal controller, in one device.

The fob extends the system beyond the camera. It handles security first, and doubles as a motion controller for everyday use.

Explore the Key Fob →

  • Security access — view feeds and control compatible security functions, when connected
  • Presentation air mouse — move your hand to steer slides
  • Gesture media control — rotate clockwise for volume up, counter-clockwise for down
  • Game controller — motion controls for supported racing and arcade games

05 Offline-first

The security loop runs without the internet.

Traditional video analytics need the cloud, a GPU server or a central appliance. Here the core intelligence runs at the edge. The internet is optional, and only needed for things that inherently require a network.

  1. See

    Observe the scene

  2. Know

    Classify & recognise

  3. Decide

    Apply the zone rule

  4. Act

    Trigger alarm & automation

  5. Keep

    Record the evidence

Works offline

Core loop

Detection, recognition, zone rules, automation and local alarm.

Needs internet

Network actions

Remote access, conversational queries and placing an external call for help.

06 Distributed recording

No single recorder to remove.

Conventional CCTV keeps its footage on one DVR or hard disk. Remove or destroy it, and the evidence goes with it. SentinelX makes every camera both an intelligent sensor and a recorder.

01

Resilient

If one camera is damaged, footage stored on the others remains available.

02

Self-aware

Someone approaching or tampering with a camera can itself trigger an intrusion event before they reach it.

03

Unified

All feeds and recordings still appear together in one interface.

08 Questions

What people ask about SentinelX.

01

What is SentinelX?

SentinelX is an AI security camera system made in India. The SX Camera understands what it sees, the SX Node sounds the siren, switches on the lights and locks the doors, and the SX Key Fob and SentinelX Cloud keep you in control. It comes as one package.

02

How is SentinelX different from a normal CCTV camera?

CCTV records an intrusion and sends a notification. SentinelX acts on it: when an unknown person enters a zone, the siren, lights and door locks respond in less than a second, without anyone watching a screen.

03

Does SentinelX work without the internet?

Yes. Detection, face recognition, zone rules, the alarm, lights, locks and recording all run on your own hardware. The internet only adds remote access, Olly and calling for help.

04

Will a pet or an animal set off the alarm?

Not if the zone is set for people. The camera's AI tells people, animals and vehicles apart, so a cat crossing a people-only zone is ignored.

05

Where are my footage and face data stored?

On your own system. Each camera records its own footage, and enrolled faces are stored and matched on the camera. They are not uploaded to our servers or used to train anyone's AI.

06

What happens if someone steals or breaks a camera?

There is no single recorder to steal. Every camera keeps its own footage, so the others still hold the evidence, and someone approaching a camera can trigger an intrusion event before they reach it.

07

Is SentinelX suitable for jewellery stores, shops and warehouses?

Yes. Zones can be drawn around counters, vaults or restricted areas, each with its own rules, and the response fires on site without depending on a server.

08

What is included in the SentinelX system?

The SX Camera, the SX Node for alarms, lights and locks, the SX Key Fob, and SentinelX Cloud with Olly, the voice assistant.

09

How can I buy SentinelX?

Pre-book online at sentinelx.systems/prebook.html. In India the pre-booking is ₹10,000 and locks the early-bird price of ₹2,00,000 (GST included) instead of ₹2,49,999; the ₹10,000 is adjusted against it. We also ship to the US, UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Qatar and Malaysia, priced in local currency. Pre-bookings are fully refundable until the system ships, and the first batch ships from November 2027.
